Tamara Lindner

Noteworthy

Tamara Lindner is the Granger and Debaillon Professor of Francophone Studies II, and the coordinator of French 101-102-201 courses. She is currently Co-President, with Dr. Robin White of Nicholls State University, and Treasurer of the CODOFIL Consortium of Louisiana Colleges and Universities, and holds the position of President of the SouthEastern Conference on Linguistics (SECOL) for the 2021-2023 term. She is co-editor of the Dictionary of Louisiana French, As Spoken in Cajun, Creole, and American Indian Communities (2010) and L’Anthologie de la littérature louisianaise d’expression française de 1682 à nos jours (2017). Other publications include chapters based on original research in the collected volumes Language in Louisiana: Community and Culture (2019) and La jeune francophonie américaine: Langue et culture chez les jeunes d'héritage francophone aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique (2018).
